Teletubby Get Up and GO! Event set for May 18
( Jackson , Miss.) --Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) with its partners - Northpark Mall, Baptist Health Systems, and the Mississippi Department of Health - invite preschool children and their caregivers to the Teletubby Get Up and GO! Event on Thursday, May 18 th , at 10:30 a.m. at Northpark Mall's center court, Ridgeland.
The first 20 participants will receive a free Teletubby Get Up and GO! Event tee shirt. Each child will have the opportunity to have a Teletubby photo taken, join in the exercises and story time cool-down, eat healthy snacks, and enjoy arts and crafts. Parents and caregivers can pick up tips in encouraging healthy habits in nutrition and exercise for their children.
According to MPB School Services Director Pam Berberette, the Teletubby Get Up and GO! Event is taking place in conjunction with the special Teletubby episode, GO! Exercise with Teletubbies , which airs Wednesday, May 17 th , at 11:00 a.m. on MPB-TV.
