Southern Expressions is a showcase for short films by independent filmmakers. This episode includes films by Kathryn Rodenmeyer, Lida Gibson, Anita Modak-Truan and Neil White, all Mississippi filmmakers. See each of their unique styles and the special tie that binds their works.
Scott Colwell , producer for Southern Expressions , shares a bit of insight regarding the program, "There are a number of good independent films out there made by fellow southerners, or made about the south by people who have come here and found inspiration. I think it's a great opportunity for filmmakers to have a showcase like this where people can see their art."
