( Jackson , Miss.) - Dwayne Wu, Lisa Liu, and Viviane Mao, of Madison , shared in the fun at the Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) Share A Story Event at Northpark Mall on July 20th.
Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) presents Share a Story every third Thursday of each month to those involved in Northpark Mall's "Muggsy Meadow" Club.
Part of a national PBS literacy campaign, the MPB Share a Story program brings children 30-minutes packed with fun, attention-getting learning activities related to children's books.
Each Share a Story event is unique, as it is centered around a specific theme chosen for that day. Not only do children learn and have a good time, caregivers and parents pick up tips of fun and simple educational activities for them to enjoy with their little ones.
Allison Lunsford, Northpark Mall Director of Marketing, shared her thoughts regarding MPB's Share a Story , "Despite sometimes limited resources, their creativity and enthusiasm shines through during each and every Share a Story time. Parents consistently rave about the books and on-site and take-home activities that are distributed through the program. The kids' smiles are evidence of their approval."
