MPB's Mississippi Roads is back with new shows! |

( Jackson , Miss.) - Mississippi Roads is back with all new episodes! Watch the season premiere of Mississippi Road s on Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) on Thursday, November 2 nd , at 7:00 p.m.
Three new programs feature the White Buffalo Pow Wow in Tupelo , the City of Bruce and the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale . Segments include a dog who sniffs out termites, a new way of housing designed for the elderly, the Bollinger Family Theater and a Ruleville man who has brought Hollywood to his hometown.
Walt Grayson returns as the host and guide of the thirty-minute program that tours the Magnolia State . "I am glad to be back out on the road capturing the stories and events that make this state such a great place to live," says Grayson. Additional first-run episodes premiering in the upcoming year will feature segments on the Great Mississippi Balloon Race, baptisms at Moon Lake , Tunica Air Races and long distance runner Brian Pope.
A special 200 th episode will give a behind-the-scenes look at how the show comes together. Comments from the producers and videographers are included with a look at some award-winning segments produced over the years.
"We are delighted to be back exploring the highways and back roads of Mississippi and bringing these stories over our airwaves so the entire state can experience some of the hidden treasures our great state has to offer," says Key Ivy, MPB producer/director.
Get back on the road with Mississippi Roads on MPB Television each Thursday evening at 7:00 and each Sunday evening at 5:30.
