New Mississippi Roads episodes on MPB this February

( Jackson , Miss.) - Check out new episodes of Mississippi Roads with host Walt Grayson on Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) airing on February's first three Thursdays – Feb. 1 st , 8 th and 15 th , all at 7:00 p.m.

On February 1 st , Mississippi Roads travels to east central Mississippi along the Alabama border to visit the Clarke County town of Quitman where muscadines are ripe for the picking at Breckenridge Farms.

Clinton High School 's Attaché Show Choir is featured along with Morton's Dr. Howard Clark who at age eighty is still making house calls.

Mississippi Roads comes to viewers on February 8 th from Jackson County on the Gulf Coast in Ocean Springs to feature the 28 th annual Peter Anderson Festival and to check the progress of Shearwater Pottery after the devastating blow of Hurricane Katrina.

Viewers will learn of Bay St. Louis photographer, Ken Murphy, who has a new book highlighting the entire state of Mississippi and of a group of gulf coast friends who made a movie in the 1980's.

On February 15 th , Mississippi Roads takes a look at the Mississippi Museum of Art in downtown Jackson, jumps into the deep to explore the sport of scuba diving, travels along Highway 61 with musician brothers Eddie and Frank Thomas, and experiences the thrills of mountain biking – Mississippi style.
