Local Cub Scouts visit

Mississippi Public Broadcasting

(Jackson, Miss.) - Cub Scout Pack 298, Den One toured the studios of Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) in Jackson.  These Tiger Cubs learned of MPB’s statewide services as they visited the television and radio studios, the news department, radio reading services and the mobile control unit.

MPB is a state agency that serves all 82 counties of Mississippi providing quality instructional and public programming.  Since its first broadcast in 1970, MPB has earned over 350 awards for its local productions including numerous regional Emmys, a national Emmy and Parents’ Choice Award for early childhood instructional programs.
