Local Girl Scouts Tour Mississippi Public Broadcasting |

(Jackson, Miss.) - Girl Scout Troop 264 of Brandon toured Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) in Jackson as part of earning their audio-visual badges.
The girls learned of MPB’s statewide services while visiting the television and radio studios, news department, radio reading services and the mobile unit.
They attend Northwest Rankin High School, Oakdale Elementary School and Northshore Elementary School.
MPB is a state agency that serves all 82 counties of Mississippi providing quality instructional and public programming. Since its first broadcast in 1970, MPB has earned over 350 awards for its local productions including numerous regional Emmys, a national Emmy and Parents’ Choice Award for early childhood instructional programs.
