MAET Board Meetings July 7-8

(Jackson, Miss.)— The Mississippi Authority for Educational Television (MAET) Board of Directors will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Administration Building, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Miss., for the purpose of conducting interviews of candidates for the position of Executive Director. The meeting will continue on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and will include adopting the Fiscal Year 2010 operating budget.

An executive session for both meetings may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. With the exception of the executive session, the public may attend.

MPB is a state agency that encompasses a network of commercial-free public radio, television, learning and community outreach services designed to empower and enrich the lives of Mississippians through the creative use of technologies to deliver programs and services that educate, entertain and enlighten.
