| Mississippi Public Broadcasting Announces Programming Changes for MPB Think Radio |

(Jackson, Miss)— Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) today announced a new weekly line-up for MPB Think Radio. Beginning Monday, October 5, the MPB local discussion programs airing weekdays at 9:00 a.m. will rebroadcast at 9:00 p.m. week nights. “The Story” will now air weekdays at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
MPB Think Radio offers five locally-produced programs at 9:00 a.m. week days, each providing practical advice on subjects from relationships to health to gardening. Listeners with questions and comments can call 1-877-672-7464 or visit www.mpbonline.org to send their emails and download podcasts. The MPB discussion shows are:
“Getting to rebroadcast at 9:00 p.m. feels like getting promoted. To know that our work will be able to reach even more Mississippians is just great. Serving the residents of our state is such an honor for all of us, and now it’s even doubly so,” said Ezra Wall, producer of the shows.
“The Story”, hosted by Dick Gordon, features discussions about politics, family, health, science, the arts and the environment. The program features individuals whose lives intersect with significant issues in the news and gives them the opportunity to tell their story.
