(Jackson, Miss)— During the live broadcast of the Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) television special “Southern Remedy: Facts About H1N1” on October 29 at 7 p.m., visit mpbonline.org for a live web chat with Dr. Paul Byers, medical consultant for epidemiology with the Mississippi Department of Health. Dr. Byers will answer questions from the public during the live web chat. Listen to the H1N1 special on MPB Think Radio or watch the simulcast on mpbonline.org.
“Southern Remedy: Facts About H1N1” brings together a panel of medical experts to answer questions from the studio audience and callers about H1N1 symptoms, treatment, vaccines and public health policy. Viewers and listeners can submit their questions by calling toll free 1-877-405-5247 or emailing southernremedy@mpbonline.org. After October 29, the TV special and other H1N1 resources will be available for viewing on mpbonline.org.
