Another great way to get assistance with post-secondary school would be through grants. What are grants? Merriam-webster.com defines grants as “an amount of money that is given to someone by a government, company, etc., to be used for a particular purpose (such as scientific research or post-secondary schooling).”
With grants, they do not have to be paid back nor do they have academic stipulations placed on them. Which means for students, this is the most appealing way to help pay for their continuing education.
Where is a good place for MS students to find grants? MS.gov recommends a website called Schoolgrantsblog.com. At the website, both parents and students can find out which students qualify for grants, how to apply for grants, and what types of grants are available.
