Our Own Worst Enemy

Dealing with bullies is something that most individuals encounter at some point in their lives. We learn at a young age that if we seek help from someone we trust (be it a relative, a parent, a teacher, a principal, etc.) or even go as far as to avoid the bully altogether, relief from that person is not far behind. But what happens when your bully can only be seen by you? What happens when you realize the person who is beating up on you is your own mind? Most teens who drop out of school aren't pushed out by physical means but by the belief they aren't good enough and will never amount to much. They take in their social surroundings and put too much 'stock' in what others say they will become. Watch the video Invisible Bully above to see how one brave teen found a way to overcome her fear of inadequacy.
