Ed Said greeted fans at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum's annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, and encouraged families to spin the Wheel of Healthy Choices!
The Easter at the Ag Museum event featured egg dyeing and decorating, face painting, games, carousel and train rides, refreshments, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. These special activities were added fun to the museum's regular exhibits, including a petting zoo, Heritage Center, and Nature Trail.
Ed Said enjoyed visiting with fans, both old and young, while quizzing fans about healthy fruits and vegetables and joining in fun physical activity. The Wheel of Healthy Choices was a hit as young people stepped up to spin the wheel. Wherever it landed, participants were tasked with completing a challenge, whether it was naming five vegetables or exercising with eight knee beds. After the challenge was complete, participants received a reusable water bottle and a fist bump from Ed Said.
The event was a huge success, due in large part to its host, the Mississippi Egg Marketing Board. Thanks to everyone for joining us at the Easter Egg Hunt at the Ag Museum!
