First off, I have a confession. I have been trying to write a blog post for months. My buddy Wiltz has single handedly carried the blog and I thank him all the time for it. I have tried multiple times to put together a post (both today and a few times in the past) and somehow I've talked myself out of it. They say something about that being the true inner voice and that's what makes a good writer. Great. My inner voice is a writer that talks himself out of writing.
I honestly have no idea what it takes to be a good writer, and I guess that's why I've been frozen in fear. I mean, it's not every day a man gets an audience. For that reason I freeze up because I want to be very careful with the words I put out here. And my grammar isn't perfect. (lol?)
So who am I? I am a very passionate person whose love of technology has taken him quite far in life. I enjoy playing with new tech and I plan to discuss a lot of that in further detail in future blog posts. But I digress.
I am the sole owner of Computer Doctor & Phone Surgeons in Hattiesburg. It's my life's work. Where we work hard every day to make sure our clients receive top notch service. I've fixed thousands of devices in my lifetime. I've saved countless businesses from failure and lost profits. I've worked on computers that operated million-dollar machinery. I've helped mothers recover baby photos from their dead iPhones. I've helped older clients learn how to use their smart phone or computer. I've unhacked phones. I've repaired telephone systems. I just recently learned how to program a digital sign. And I just got my Drone Pilot license. I take my job very seriously and I spend a great deal of my time listening to audio books or reading about self improvement or business. If you're a frequent listener to the show, you know that I also like to write poems.
I'm dead set on succeeding and taking on new challenges in life. That's how I got this far: by staying focused on where I was going.
I am a solution oriented person and that's why I love doing this show. Because I create solutions for our listeners. I help keep our audience safe from scams and flim-flam. I have been working with computers all my life and I love helping others. I believe in contribution. And that's why I do it. Because I want to give back for all I've been blessed with.
So I look forward to telling you all about new tech, warning you when it's time to update due to security holes, and helping simplify the mysterious world of tech. I feel like I should've been able to post this 8 months ago when I started. But better late than never!
