Starting September 9, tune in each week as @ISSUE takes an in-depth look at news and issues across Mississippi.
Packaged as a timely news magazine program, the first new episodes will focus on topics like the controversial Kemper County energy facility, mosquito-born sicknesses, police-community relations, texting and driving, charter schools, Cleveland school desegregation, the Presidential election and more.
Previously, the program has aired only during the legislative session, with the focus solely on the activity of the Mississippi State Senate and House of Representatives. While @ISSUE will continue to cover the Legislature during the spring session, the year-round schedule will allow for weekly, in-depth coverage of topics corresponding to MPB News’ everyday reporting.
