Listen to two Mississippi Governor’s Debates on MPB Think Radio

MPB Think Radio will carry two live debates in the race for Mississippi governor Oct. 10 and Oct. 14.

The Mississippi Governor’s Debate can be heard live on MPB Think Radio from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, between Democratic Attorney General Jim Hood and Republican Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves.

WJTV-TV is hosting the televised debate at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. The debate will be moderated by Byron Brown, anchorman and political reporter for WJTV-TV, and Greg Hurst, anchorman for WREG-TV. All questions to the candidates will be focused on topical local and regional issues impacting communities across Mississippi, including education, health care, infrastructure and the economy, as well as candidate-specific subjects.

The debate will not be available on MPB Television.

Listen to a second gubernatorial debate between Hood and Reeves on MPB Think Radio from 7-8 p.m. Oct. 14 that is taking place at WCBI-TV in Columbus.  

MPB Think Radio FM dials across the state include 90.3 in Biloxi, 89.5 in Booneville, 88.9 in Bude, 90.9 in Greenwood, 91.3 in Jackson, 88.1 in Meridian, 89.9 in Mississippi State and 90.3 in Oxford/University.
