Larry Morrisey talks with photographer Bruce West. West has recently published “The True Gospel Preached Here,” a book of photographs focusing on Margaret’s Grocery, the unique folk art site in Vicksburg. West developed a close relationship with the creators of the site, Reverend H. D. and Margaret Dennis. He spent nearly 20 years visiting with the couple and documenting the changes to the Grocery over time.
