Divided We Stand
18 Students, 3 Countries, 1 Incredible Journey
In the summer of 2008, the Trent Lott Leadership Institute sponsored an exchange program with universities in Northern Ireland and South Africa to examine the world's most divisive issues: race and religion. In this journey, six graduate students from each
university explore three countries in just five weeks to learn about these issues and to further
explore the topic of reconciliation together. Mississippi Public Broadcasting's (MPB) newest
documentary, "Divided We Stand" follows these students on their journey.
