Quality digital video to teachers' desktops is now available in Mississippi through MPB Express

Mississippi Public Broadcasting is pleased to provide these high quality video-streaming services that contain more than 40,000 full length videos and segments, still images, clip art, writing prompts, an interactive Atlas and much more, all correlated to Mississippi and national curriculum standards.

MPB Express also includes thousands of teacher guides, blackline masters, lesson plans, quizzes, and assignments that can be customized by teachers for their students. Teachers have 24/7 instant access to MPB Express from any Internet-connected computer to download videos for a complete instructional resource. In addition, many of MPB's own instructional productions have been added to the impressive and growing list of program titles available.

MPB EXPRESS (unitedstreaming) Trainings for March, April, May!!!

MPB EXPRESS has expanded to include the fantastic  unitedstreaming product from Discovery Education as part of our free, digital multi-media services to K12 schools in Mississippi .

MPB Education Services Staff will be conducting several five hour in-house train-the-trainer workshops March-May:

•  March 21, 2007

•  April 11, 2007

•  May 10, 2007

The trainings will be from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. .5 CEU's will be offered. The workshops will be held in the IVN classroom at Mississippi Public Broadcasting, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS.

If your district has already been using MPB EXPRESS, you already know how these multi-media resources can enhance classroom instruction.  We invite you to come expand your use by adding  unitedstreaming in your district.  Those few districts that have not attended an MPB EXPRESS training previously, here is your chance to get involved and take the information on these wonderful resources back to your teachers!
