PBS TeacherLine Spring Courses
TeacherLine courses have offered Mississippi districts and teachers the opportunity to earn valuable CEUs at home, at school, at night, on weekends, for years. Now districts can provide these same standards-based, facilitated, content-rich courses for their teachers with the added value of Graduate Credit Hours from accredited U.S. institutions - Adams State College, Colorado or Indiana University. All you need is Internet access and a few hours a week at your computer.
There are forty National TeacherLine online professional development courses that will run March 29-May 9, 2006. The thirty-hour courses are available for $199, with enrollment payable online with a major credit card. (Graduate credit is an additional charge upon completion through the issuing college or university.)
*IMPORTANT: To apply for CEU credit through Mississippi College, you must enroll in and complete a course taught by a Mississippi TeacherLine facilitator. A thirty-hour course awards 3.0 CEUs for $30.00.
The Mississippi TeacherLine facilitators are:
- William Cole
- Violet Cole
- Frances Coleman
- Virginia (Ginger) Cowart
- Barbara Patterson
- Gwen Purnell
- Linda Sumlin
