The Paul Lacoste Sports Fit 4 Change Challenge is a program put on each year by Paul Lacoste Sports, challenging legislators, state employees and every day Mississippians to lose weight and get healthy. The program combines intense physical workouts and nutritional counseling to push the athletes to the edge of what they can physically do. The results speak for themselves. In its very first year, Fit 4 Change saw a weight loss of over 1400 pounds in 10 weeks. In its second year, the athletes lost over 3000 pounds. This year, the athletes are already on track to shatter that record.
This year, MPB will be following four participants in the Fit 4 Change Challenge, to see how the journey affects their everyday lives. Every two weeks, a new webisode will be posted here on the MPB-Fit 4 Change website, along with other videos and articles.
All of this is led by Paul Lacoste, a Jackson, Mississippi, native who has been training youth, high school, collegiate and professional athletes for 17 years. The positive changes in more than 5,000 local athletes are testament to Paul's ability to produce results. After becoming an All-SEC linebacker for Mississippi State, Paul racked up experience in the NFL, CFL and XFL and was named CFL Rookie of the Year in 1999. Paul is one of the premier performance specialists in the United States, motivating his trainees and bringing passion and intensity to his training to help participants succeed.
