  • More flu vaccine arrives in Mississippi
    Mississippi State Department of Health officials have a new supply of the flue vaccine, which ran out earlier during this flu season. Dr. Risa Webb, who is a consultant on infectious diseases for the state health department, says the state will begin today distribution of more than 3600 additional doses of the vaccine for those over the age of four. She says it's been a busy flu season. (0:29)

    Mississippi's Governor says he still opposes the proposal for a local option sales tax that would benefit certain projects for cities or counties. But in an appearance before the Mississippi Municipal League in Jackson yesterday he offered them the possibility that such a measure could become law if passed by the legislature. (0:54)
