Courts
being redistricted

added in Mississippi
as legislators begin
a process of redistricting

state. The process has
started in a sub-committee
of House Judiciary A
committee with Representative
Tommy Reynolds heading
the effort and considering
potential for needed
new courts. (0:28)

Judiciary A Chair Ed
Blackmon is optimistic
about meeting the needs
since any added courts
and judges would not
take office until 2007
when he is hopeful that
the economy will have
improved to help pay
