House has passed a bill
aimed at bringing the
state closer to compliance
with the federal Help
America Vote Act. But
as Wayne Sorge reports,
there was opposition
over the lack of a voter
identification provision
in the measure.

says they're simply
asking legislators to
give the people the
right to chose their
