The Radio Garden

The Gestalt Garden got frosted when a snow fell unexepectedly last Friday night, just as Felder was returning from a lecture at the 179th Philadelphia (PA) Flower Show. It was mostly gone before morning, but the collard plant still had a bit of frosting and snow, which made the leaves all the sweeter in the kitchen later.

Spring is nearly here - next week it will be official - but winter still has some punch!

Also, Felder and his pickup truck hit the streets in his pickup truck to find fresh grass clippings mixed with chopped leaves, conveniently bagged and place on curbsides, to feed his compost bin; they are already being turned into good dirt for the Gestalt Garden!
