The Radio Garden

The Radio Garden, not even a year old now, is about the size of a pickup truck bed - not very large at all. Since last July we have planted and enjoyed flowers, vegetables, herbs, shrubs, bulbs, and even rooted roses - all done with LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES A WEEK.

It includes a water garden, a container garden, and even night lighting. The purpose is not only to have a nice little garden for all-year enjoyment, but also to encourage new gardeners to start small and have fun.  No pesticides are used in this garden - not out of fear or aversion, but simply because in a mixed garden, pests are simply not as severe, and beneficial critters take care of what does pop up.

The Gestalt Gardener also grows a garden in the back of his old pickup truck - flowers, vegetables, herbs, shrubs, succulents, and of course ACCESSORIES that include a bottle tree, flamingos, small stones, and a HARD-working wind chime...
