With Mississippi's turkey population currently at its highest rate in years, The Department of Wildlife implemented a Fall Turkey season this year for the first time, and Mississippi Outdoors was there! Follow us to Madison County and see just how successful we were. They say hunting is 50% luck and 50% skill...well; luck was certainly with us that day!

 

Oyster and Sturgeon Population on the Coast

Little was known right after Katrina about the effect it had on the marine life, so an unprecedented search took place to see how it was doing.  Take a look at what survived and what was damaged and see if and how Mother Nature is being helped to replace its depleted populations.
