Bowfishing
Hunters continue to find ways to extend the hunting season, and bowfishing is a good way to do that! This sport continues to grow in popularity, so MS Outdoors went along on a few hunts this summer. Eagle Lake was the sight for bowfishing gar and carp, while our MS Gulf Coast offered some great flounder and redfish shooting. It's not as easy as it looks, but we did manage to get our limit! Come along and see!
Trees for Fish
Find out why the fish love Christmas as Sardis Lake. Volunteers create crappie mats in the winter and place them in the drained lake so the fish will have habitat a safe place to hide except in spring the fishermen know where to find them.
Giles Island Squirrel Hunt
Melvin goes to Giles Island in Adams County for a squirrel hunt at a place known for its turkey and deer hunting. Now they can ad squirrel to their list! Enjoy champion squirrel dogs at work and learn where Jim Bouie’s knife was mad famous.
