Speckled Trout Fishing

Melvin Tingle head out to salt water with the crew of the charter boat “Double Trouble”. Troy Fountain guides this trip on a beautiful coastal morning. The days starts out a bit rough as the group almost loses a motor, but they quickly turn the trip into a success with Speckled Trout for Melvin.

History Hunters

Just below the surface of the earth lie hundreds of untold treasures, relics, and bottle caps. Metal detectors make this treasure hunt possible. We explore an old house site, a battlefield, and an empty residential lot to see what traces of the past can be uncovered. A father and daughter uncover something that has been waiting for them for over 140 years. We also visit with John Perkins, a Raymond native, whose years of metal detecting have produced some remarkable finds.

Fossil Road Show

Was it a cow? Was it a dog? Or was it a Dinosaur? Any one can bring their fossils to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science to have the experts tell them just what it is that they have found. You never know what you'll come across as Mississippians bring what they've found in their backyard.
