These guys are champions in slalom skiing and Janet does her best to keep up as they take her through some course training. You really need some practice to be able to get around the buoys going almost 35 miles an hour.

RCW Saviors

Red-cockaded Woodpeckers are few and far between. The problem is that their original habitats are decreasing. Foresters are working to support this species in Morton, Mississippi by constructing bird boxes inserted into tree trunks before they are acceptable to these woodpeckers.

Bass Masters Tournament

Over 400 professional fishermen converge on Lake Columbus for this huge event. It takes place near Starkville and all these anglers have come to fish one of Mississippi's premier fishing lakes. They are all looking for big money and prizes, because it’s the Bass Masters challenge in Columbus.
