Obesity remains one of the most pressing health concerns facing Mississippi. It is associated with illnesses like diabetes and heart disease, stealing thousands from a person's pocket book, and years from a person's life. As part of a new series we're calling 'State of Obesity,' we hear from a man at the forefront of the state's battle against the condition. Victor Sutton is Director of Preventive Health at the Mississippi State Department of Health. He tells At Issue host, Wilson Stribling, why Mississippi is always a contender for the obesity title.
