Premieres October 16 at 7:00 pm CST on MPB TV. Available online immediately following the premiere.

Walt and the rest of the Mississippi Roads crew take a look at Poplarville during its annual Blueberry Jubilee, an art festival held during June in downtown Poplarville. The Blueberry Jubilee attracts more than 10,000 visitors each year for its arts and crafts, storytelling, live entertainment, and, of course, amazing food. The proceeds of the festival help food programs and projects that serve the community.

Also, featured in this episode is the philanthropy Extra Table founded by Hattiesburg chef Robert st. John. Extra Table provides food banks in the area with enough healthy food to keep their shelves stocked at all times and is the result of a collaboration between St. John and food distributer Sysco.

We also take a look through the rear-view mirror at a Draft Horse school that used to operate in Poplarville.

Finally, we learn about the art and science of blueberry farming.
