General Manager of Radio and News

The General Manager – Radio & News Operations is the driving force behind our station’s on-air sound and journalistic impact. Reporting to the COO and CEO—and working in close collaboration with the Chief Content Officer—this role leads all aspects of radio and news programming, from big-picture strategy to daily execution.

Multimedia Journalist

Mississippi Public Broadcasting is statewide radio/television network and one of three partner stations of The Gulf States Newsroom. This exciting, collaborative reporting project works to plan coverage, share resources and increase reporting power in the gulf region.

Digital Content Producer

The Digital Content Producer will work with the Communications team to create, design, and produce engaging graphics and videos for social media platforms. This role is responsible not only for content creation but also for scheduling and ensuring timely delivery of posts according to the strategist-approved calendar.

Assistant Creative Director of Television

This is a supervisory position that manages projects through all stages of television production: from initial development and pre-production planning to execution/production, post-production, and final delivery.

Senior Producer

The position leads day-to-day production for assigned programs and specials, ensuring creative excellence, schedule adherence, and compliance with broadcast and legal standards. 

Programming Director

This position ensures MPB’s programming reflects the diversity, culture, and educational mission of Mississippi while engaging audiences with content that informs, inspires, and connects communities statewide.
