Students from the Northwood Village apartments enjoyed an afternoon filled with science fun. The afternoon started with an active-viewing of a Sid the Science Kid episode.
Sid demonstrated how to complete a science experiment, and the after-school students got a chance to complete their very own science experiment. What will happen when you add dishwashing liquid to water; what will happen when you add dishwashing liquid to milk?
These are just a few of the questions the students got a chance to answer. Students were excited for the opportunity to engage in the science learning; from making predictions, completing a science experiment, learning about reactions, and making conclusions.
Students look forward to continue the science learning and engagement. This project is funded by a Ready To Learn grant provided by the Department of Education to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
