Host Guy Raz takes listeners on a journey through fascinating ideas, inventions and new ways to think and create. Based on TEDTalks given by riveting speakers on the world-renowned TED stage, each show is centered on a common theme and inject soundscapes and conversations that bring these ideas to life.

The host, Guy Raz, joined NPR in 1997 as an intern for All Things Considered where he worked his way through the ranks of the organization. Raz was named host of that program in 2009. While there, he transformed the sound and format of the program, introducing the "cover story" and creating the "Three-Minute Fiction" writing contest.

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. The Annual TED Conference and TEDGlobal conferences invite the world's leading thinkers and doers to speak for up to 18 minutes.

TED Radio Hour is a co-production of NPR and TED. It airs on MPB Think Radio Sundays at 3 p.m.
