Kudos to the Teachers & Learners

From early childhood learners to learners of all ages, it takes all manner of people speaking into our world, on all kinds of topics, to begin to shape who we become and are becoming.

Sometimes hearing the same message for the 49th time will be exactly when it finally resonates within and causes someone to take action, to believe, or to know and understand what they didn’t previously know and understand.

That is the reward.

Knowing that you are changing and impacting lives for the better!

A Kindergarten teacher, thirteen years ago, set the stage for a young boy to flourish in grade school because she was open to learning herself.

She was the educator. She had the degree. And she listened to a concerned mom and worked with her to make space for a child who struggled with social anxiety.

She learned ways to help lower this child’s anxiety in the classroom setting as she worked together with his mom. Together they witnessed a life beginning to change for the good.

We all are teachers and learners in our own way. We all can create space to take in knowledge and become aware of what we have not experienced ourselves.

If you are a parent, a teacher, an educator, or a leader of any kind be encouraged.

Keep speaking out and repeating the messages that all of us need to hear. You may not ever know when that moment occurs that a life is changed, but I can promise you that it is happening more than you realize.

As parents, teachers, educators of all kinds and leaders we may find we are constantly repeating ourselves.

That is okay.

There are important words worth repeating.

You may not hear them quoting you later, but if you are lucky enough to, it will dawn on you that they actually were listening after all. Or maybe you will get the privilege of seeing their journey and knowing that you played a small part. Whether you hear or see the difference you are making or not, know that you are!

Kudos to those who continue educating, leading and learning! We all reap those benefits.
