First of all, thank you all for your incredible support of our Meet and Greet events over the last few months! We just wrapped up this season with events in Ocean Springs and most recently at the Mississippi Crafts Center in Ridgeland. Wade Overstreet, our MPB Think Radio staff and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you—sharing our enthusiasm about MPB or answering the questions that are important to you in your experiences with us. Your input and support are vital to our local programming, and we love visiting with our viewers face to face! Of course, this means you’re always welcome to come visit us at MPB Studios in Jackson.
Second, I want to draw special attention to our donor profile this month recognizing Janet and John Clark. Not only are the Clarks lovers of MPB, but they have also played an important role in its development over the last 30 years and more. John served as a board member of the former Friends of MPB organization, and since 1984 has offered underwriting support through Daniel Coker Horton & Bell, P.A. Attorneys at Law. He presently serves as a director on the MPB Foundation Board, and his history of service, unwavering devotion, and depth of knowledge are invaluable to MPB and our Foundation.
In closing, it is such an honor this month to recognize our Leadership Circle—comprised of donors who over the past year have donated $500 or more through the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Foundation.
