The 2016 Can I Kick It? Summer Media Institute ended its first week with students learning about camera operation and sound recording. Thanks to guest speakers Taiwo Gaynor and Scott Colwell for teaching the students how to operate and set up their assigned equipment. On day five, the students moved into their three day production phase and hit the road to film in the community of Jackson. Each group has three days to shoot and will have the oppritunity to record their soundtrack at the Grammy Museum on July 27.
