Family and friends celebrated the life of 6 year old Kingston Frazier today during his funeral services. The first grader was found shot to death last week in his mother's stolen car. MPB's Alexis Ware reports.

Donning green attire, members of Kingston Frazier's family entered Morning Star Baptist Church in Jackson walking through a crowd of people.

During the funeral service members of clergy and Jackson city officials including Mayor Tony Yarber and Police Chief Lee Vance offered words of comfort to the family.

Six-year-old Kingston was asleep in the backseat of his mother's car in a parking lot of a Jackson grocery story last Thursday morning when the vehicle was stolen. Later that day he was found in the car with multiple fatal gunshot wounds.

David Archie, Kingston's great uncle, honors him during the ceremony.

"He graduated from all work and all schools on this earth. Now he's retired and in the place where we all hope to retire one day and that is in heaven."

This week the three teenagers accused of killing Kingston were denied bail. They face capital murder charges.
