It's the first day of hurricane season. And Jason Dunion's work is already underway.

Dunion is a hurricane researcher at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA's, Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory. His job essentially is to figure out why hurricanes happen, with the ultimate goal of improving storm forecasts.
