Today MSDH is reporting an additional 2,665 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 56 deaths. Thirty-two deaths occurred between November 20 and December 11, and twenty-four occurred between November 5 and December 6, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 177,947, with 4,180 deaths.
There are currently 218 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
