MSDH reports 268 new COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths

MSDH is reporting an additional 268 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 11 deaths. Four deaths occurred between March 10 and March 24, and 7 occurred between February 25 and March 20, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 304,210, with 6,998 deaths.

Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 2 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities and no deaths. There are currently 25 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
