MSDH is reporting an additional 270 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 4 deaths. All deaths occurred between April 1 and April 6. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 306,611, with 7,077 deaths.
MSDH has identified no additional cases in residents of long-term care facilities and no new deaths. There are currently 18 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
