Today MSDH is reporting an additional 350 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 19 deaths. Four deaths occurred between February 16 and February 19, and 15 occurred between December 15 and February 13, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 290,242, with 6,553 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 1 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and 1 death. There are currently 93 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
