MSDH is reporting an additional 357 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 26 deaths. Six deaths occurred between October 2 and March 8, and 20 occurred between January 14 and March 2, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 298,008, with 6,834 deaths.
There are currently 56 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
