Today MSDH is reporting an additional 361 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 10 deaths. Three deaths occurred between March 17 and March 18, and 7 occurred between August 3 and March 14, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 302,677, with 6,955 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 2 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and no deaths. There are currently 37 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
