MSDH reports 410 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths

MSDH is reporting an additional 410 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 6 deaths. Three deaths occurred between March 29 and April 10, and three deaths occurred between August 5 and April 8, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 308,521, with 7,127 deaths. NOTE: One death previously reported in Hinds County was determined not to be COVID-19 related, and has been removed.

MSDH has identified no additional cases in residents of long-term care facilities and no additional deaths. There are currently 19 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
