MSDH is reporting an additional 647 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 14 deaths. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 82,676, with 2,441 deaths. Twelve of the deaths reported occurred between July 31 and August 20, identified through death certificates.
There are now 158 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
