Today MSDH is reporting an additional 705 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 11 deaths. One death occurred January 30, and 10 occurred between December 30 and January 23, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 275,706, with 6,056 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 3 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities and no deaths. There are currently 184 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
