Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 823 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 23 deaths. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 85,939, with 2,558 deaths. Note: A death previously reported in Lamar County was in error. The total of deaths in this county has been corrected.
Long-term care facilities have reported 65 new cases among residents, and an additional 10 deaths. There are now 154 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
